Meet the YuniFounders
We met in the Philippines with no name, no resources — just a shared question:
“Can we build something real, starting right here?”
We believed that our love for Japan, and our ties across cultures, could become something more.
Not just connection — but a bridge.
That belief gave birth to Yuni.
Kenjiro Takeda
Kenjiro is the founder and CEO of Yuni. He grew up in Kagoshima prefecture (southern region of Japan) and graduated from one of the university in the Philippines
Alaine Nakagawa
Alaine is founder and COO of Yuni. He’s pure Filipino but grew up in Japan.
He aspires to serve as a bridge between Japan and the Philippines.
